Hallmark First Day of Spring
Hello Spring 2020!
Hello Spring 2020! It’s so nice that you’ve stopped by and are staying for a while! In my and other folks’ cases who are lucky enough to be living in a warmer climate, you had no other chance but to say, “Hi!” As for y’all other folks, sorry.
I know it’s hard to be sitting there, next to your heater, looking out the window at all of that frozen water called snow on y’all’s yards. Y’all can’t see all of that green on the leaves and green on the trees until maybe late May or June; which is when the summer begins.
It sucks! I know! But hey, that’s the way life goes when you live in the frigid cold. I’ve experienced it, myself. I use to sit and look at all of the cherry blossoms, tulips, and roses on the internet while occasionally watching the neighborhood children build a snowman who has yet to take non-smoking seriously.
Those snowmen. I tell you. I don’t understand how they can stay frozen with a smoking pipe in their mouths. It must be magic. Y’all know, like the magic of spring. The sound of the water flowing in the stream, the birds chirping and singing, and the leaves on the trees swaying in the wind. It’s a beautiful thing, I tell ya’, to see nature working…I hope it doesn’t rain, today.
That rain will make it hard for me to see that gopher dancing on the golf course.
